Helping to “Raise” Awareness of the Needs of Seniors Even More

July 25, 2011

This is a recap of the media coverage of the Home Instead balloon launch video. Outfitted with four GoPro cameras, the balloon traveled 100 miles. The result, an incredible never-before-seen video.

At 114,389 feet the balloon bursts. The temperature low was -91 degrees F on this two hour and 40 minute trip. In 26 minutes, the payload free falls and a 36 inch parachute deploys.

As the sponsor, Home Instead Senior Care enables seniors to remain independent and provides much needed respite care for family caregivers. For more information visit homeinstead.com. For more information about this launch visit AccessSpace.org.
